About
Who We Are
Aupix makes video telephony happen... we create the gadgets that sit in your hand, or on your desk, and develop all the boffin-designed stuff that sits in the internet and which makes the video calls happen... and we've enjoyed doing this for nearly 20 years.
Aupix founders, Graham Brown and John Martin, were formerly directors of Motion Media plc, a company recognised for its technical innovation and videotelephony expertise.
Aupix was founded in 2005 by John and Graham to acquire the Intellectual Property Rights and assets of the AP-100 IP Videophone from SCOTTY Group plc, which was formerly Motion Media plc. One day there's a story to be told about all the times we had at Motion Media, but that's for another web site...
As well as significant personal investments from the directors and most of the employees, funding was secured for Aupix from selected external private investors and venture capital companies. Aupix started with the key development team of the AP-100.
