In line with SCOTTY's restructuring proposals and the Company's strategy to best position itself to maximise opportunities, SCOTTY is pleased to announce that it has secured an IPR agreement with AuPix Ltd. As a part of the agreement, AuPix has purchased the assets and intellectual property rights of the mm745 IP Videophone. In return, SCOTTY will receive a 12.5% equity stake in the business as well as royalties for the mm745s sold through AuPix.

AuPix Ltd was recently formed to specifically develop, market and sell the mm745 using the Equator platform which SCOTTY no longer utilise. The Company are now concentrating on the single TI platform.

AuPix is headed by former Motion Media management: Graham Brown, former Managing Director and John Martin, former Co Founder and Technical Director and have employed key engineers, who were originally responsible for developing the product.

This deal will enable SCOTTY to successfully outsource its development, which in turn will reduce costs and manpower.
